Vivo S18e
Vivo has announced that on December 14 at 2:00 PM in China, it will announce the Vivo S18 line of smartphones. The Vivo S18e, S18, and S18 Pro are the three variants that will be available. Along with the S18 series, the firm will also be introducing the Vivo TWS 3e TWS earbuds. Here are all the specifications for these devices that have been verified via official means.
The entry-level model in the S18 series, the Vivo S18e, will include a flat display and a circular camera module with an OIS-enabled dual-camera configuration and an Aura LED flash. The picture above verifies that it will handle 80W charging and feature a 4,800mAh battery. It is verified to come in colors including Cloud Gauze White, Glow Purple, and Starry Night Black. Its thickness is 7.69 mm.
Vivo S18
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor is present in the Vivo S18, as revealed by Jia Jingdong, president and general manager of brand and product strategy at Vivo. On the other hand, the S18 Pro has the more potent Dimensity 9200 Plus. Additionally, he said that the two phones would be available in hues including Huaxia Red, Black, Purple, and Sea Green.
Vivo S18 Pro
A few example photos of the Vivo S18 are seen below. He disclosed that the S18 Pro includes a 50-megapixel front camera with dual soft LED lights and a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX920, main) + 50-megapixel (Samsung JN1, ultra-wide) + 12-megapixel (Sony IMX663, portrait) triple camera unit on the back; however, he did not disclose the S18’s camera specifications. The company’s Blue Heart AI model, which has six billion parameters and can improve portrait photography, will also be included in the Vivo S18 line of smartphones.
When compared to the S18e, the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro have a distinct appearance. The OLED display on the regular and Pro versions is curved and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is anticipated that both devices will have 80W charging capability. There have been rumors circulating that the Pro model would support 100W of charging.
While the company has revealed the design of the Vivo TWS 3e earbuds, none of their key features have been confirmed.
